Nd:YLF
Nd:YLF features an extremely large fluorescence line width, low thermal lensing effect and natural polarization. It is widely used in mode-locked lasers, continuous lasers and material processing fields. As an alternative medium to Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF is used to work in the near-infrared region, generating lasers at wavelengths of 1047nm and 1053nm. It can be applied in linearly polarized resonators, mode-locked lasers, diode-pumped Nd:YLF lasers and Ti:sapphire chirped pulse amplifiers.

TLF(TbLiF4)
TLF has similar transparency range to TGG. It should be noted that this material show improved absorption at the shorter wavelengths. Unlike TGG, color center formation and cation valence changes are minimized in the fluoride crystals resulting in a consistent “water-white” appearance. This is promising for optical isolators for visible wavelength lasers.
